Ensuring network data security is a key task in the construction of national computing power hub nodes. “As one of the national hubs of the national integrated computing power network, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration should increase support in key infrastructure, software, and other fields, continuously explore key security protection technologies, and build a strong defense line for urban cyberspace security,” Zhu Jian, General Manager of QAX Group’s Hebei Division, said at the 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo.

The national project of channeling more computing resources from the eastern areas to the less developed western regions is accelerating. This project involves a large number of terminal devices and platforms, multiple types of computing resources, and network infrastructure, bringing new challenges and higher requirements for data security protection.

Zhu Jian believes that the research and development of key core technologies should be accelerated, especially for risk identification and protection technology, data desensitization technology, data security compliance assessment and certification, data encryption and other technologies. Efforts should be made to increase research and development investment, break through technological bottlenecks such as network latency, data transmission, computing power scheduling and adaptation, and enhance data security guarantees.

“The digital transformation has deeply impacted various industries.” Zhu Jian believes that in industrial internet applications, factory data involves production, management, energy, environmental protection, and also connects with external platforms and enterprises, posing security risks and hidden dangers.

In the past, we have cooperated with Hebei enterprises such as Jingye Group and ENN Energy Holdings Limited in the field of data industry control security. “Zhu Jian said that during this expo, they signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hebei Xinlong Inc on the cyberspace security industry and education services, and will cooperate to build projects such as the “Cyberspace Security Industry College” and the “Cyberspace Security Double Teacher Talent Training Base”.

Network security is the core and foundation of a strong cybersecurity country and a digital China. “Zhu Jian suggested that in order to strengthen the defense line of urban network security and help accelerate the construction of a data-driven and intelligent integrated digital Hebei, the province should improve the security management mechanism, coordinate the construction of digital government network security, build an integrated digital city network security operation center, and establish a digital government security technology guarantee system with dynamic monitoring, active defense, and collaborative response, improve the overall level of urban network security prevention and control and governance capabilities. A collaborative mechanism should be established, and various departments should strengthen collaboration through information sharing, joint research and judgment, and rapid response to form a joint force and improve the effectiveness of security protection. Hebei should strengthen the construction of a network security talent team, establish a training base for urban network security talents, and provide talent support for building a strong network security barrier.
